Our Vision
Home. Healthy. Happy.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the American dream of homeownership and the stability, pride, and joy it brings.
Founded in 2014, Pasadena Friendship Community Development Corporation (PFCDC) was born out of a deep commitment to serve the growing number of seniors and families in our community living in challenging or unsafe conditions.
As a nonprofit public benefit corporation, PFCDC is dedicated to providing affordable housing, essential services, and meaningful support to seniors and families at risk. Our mission extends beyond housing—we’re building pathways to wellness, stability, and opportunity for all.
Through ongoing outreach and partnerships, PFCDC continues to expand its impact across Pasadena by addressing critical areas such as housing, health, senior services, youth programs, and economic development.
As an independent organization, PFCDC draws strength from the compassion and talent within our church community—creating a network of skills and resources to help carry out our mission. We actively pursue grants, program funding, corporate and private contributions, and develop self-sustaining fundraising initiatives to ensure our programs continue to grow and thrive.
At PFCDC, we believe that when a community comes together, lasting change follows. Together, we’re creating a stronger, healthier, and happier Pasadena for generations to come.
